Myrtle E. Anderson
Myrtle E. Anderson, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Wisconsin. A resident for six months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Dickey of Las Vegas and Jane Remaley of Atlanta; one son, Robert Anderson of Phoenix; three sisters, Ellen Johnson, Phyllis Pekorski and Dorothy Kloster, all of Manitowoc, Wis.; and six grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.
The family suggests donations to King of Glory Lutheran Church, Tempe, Ariz.
James Leo Bashaw
James Leo Bashaw, 82, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. Self-employed, he was born March 20, 1920, in Bay City, Mich.
He is survived by one son, James M. Bashaw of Michigan; two daughters, Robin Claus of Arizona and Dane Butler of Montana; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann Chamberlain
Mary Ann Chamberlain, 64, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. A mail carrier for 20 years, she was born July 5, 1938, in St. Louis.
She is survived by one son, Andrew Petty of Caseyville, Ill.

Leonard TQ Ching
Leonard TQ Ching, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Hawaii. A resident for 24 years, he was a regional manager, an Air Force veteran and treasurer of the National Intelligence Counter Intelligence Association.
He is survived by his wife, Vida; one son, Curtis Ching, and one daughter, Jacqui Ching, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Joey Ching of California and Keith Ching of Las Vegas; two sisters, Jackie Garrettson of California and Leona Austria of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Wayne Clearo
Wayne Clearo, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 24, 1958, in Watertown, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired appliance repairman.
He is survived by one son, Wayne Clearo Jr. of California; one stepdaughter, Amanda Johnson of Las Vegas; two brothers, William Clearo of Minnesota and Leland Clearo of Las Vegas; four sisters, Joyce, Nancy, Wanda and Sharon; and one grandchild.

Lew Costello
Lew Costello, 72, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 28, 1930, in Garden City, Kan. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired real estate broker, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the Retired Officers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Doreen; three daughters, Kathy Edworthy of Houston, Beverley Johnson of Henderson and Kimberley Whelton of Sheboygan, Wis.; two sons, Michael Costello of Galveston, Texas, and Stuart Denmark of Meguon, Wis.; one brother, Charles Costello of New Mexico; one sister, Mary Costello of Colorado; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Josephine Estes
Josephine Estes, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 15, 1908, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, George Estes of Las Vegas and Charles Estes of San Jose, Calif.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Kenneth Peter Hehr
Kenneth Peter Hehr, 77, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired clinical psychologist.
He is survived by his wife, Reta; four sons, Roger Hehr of Gilbert, Ariz., Michael Hehr of Ridgecrest, Calif., John Hehr of Las Vegas and Andrew Hehr of Longmont, Colo.; two daughters, Susan August of Maple Falls, Wash., and Jeanne Hamburg of North Las Vegas; one sister, Sister Barbara Hehr; two brothers, Edward Hehr of Mundeline, Ill., and Jerry Hehr of Oregon; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mondell Hunt
Mondell Hunt, 19, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 13, 1983, in California. A lifelong resident, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his father, Otis Hunt; one brother, William Randolph Jr.; and three sisters, Keisha Lennox, Neiisha Ford and Dora Randolph, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Wednesday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Vegas View Baptist Church, 1906 Glider St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Arthur Liebert
Arthur Liebert, 78, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1924, in St. Louis. A resident for 36 years, he was a casino owner-operator, founder and past president of Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas, a board member of Jewish Federation of Las Vegas and was a recipient of a special fellowship award from B'nai B'rith International.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheri Seigel of St. Louis and Sandy Ewan of Las Vegas; one son, Mark Liebert of San Francisco; one brother, Charles Liebert of St. Louis; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Edna Luckman
Edna Luckman, 79, of Las Vegas died Dec. 3 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for more than 40 years, she was the owner of the Gambler's Book Store at 630 S. 11th St.
She is survived by her aunt and uncle, Elsie and Elmer Kwech of Chicago; one niece, Nancy Resendez of Hawthorn, Calif.; and three cousins, Bill Kwech of Dallas and Ronald Kwech and Russell Kwech, both of Chicago.
Bunker Mortuary is handling the arrangements.

Vincent D. Mann
Vincent D. Mann, 73, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born July 26, 1929, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 41 years, he was an equipment operator for Precision Asphalt Co., a Korean War Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 631.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Donna Sandoval of Las Vegas and Vicki Smiley and Kimberlie Rock, both of Henderson; two sons, Ronald Mundee and Kevin Mann, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Mann of Sun City, Phoenix; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Chapel. Entombment will be in Eden Vale Mausoleum.

Richard C. Miller, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for 51 years, he was born July 31, 1951, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by one son, Triston R. Miller of San Diego; one daughter, Stacey M. Schafer of Orange Country, Calif.; his parents, Robert and Marjorie Miller of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Jimmy Miller and Gary Miller, both of Las Vegas, and Larry Miller of Salt Lake City.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.
Roy Joseph Niemann
Roy Joseph Niemann, 80, of Clarksville, Ind., died Friday in Clarksville. He was born Oct. 30, 1922, in Valmeyer, Ill. A former Las Vegas resident for 15 years, he was a retired maintenance supervisor for an automotive firm, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by four sons, Terry Niemann, Garry Niemann and Craig Niemann, all of Jeffersonville, Ind., and James Niemann of Ocala, Fla.; two daughters, Joann Lemkemann of Warrenton, Mo., and Sharon Robinson of Phoenix; one brother, Cletus Niemann of Deston, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Sarah Nold
Sarah Nold, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born April 4, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Willis and Judith Emerich, both of San Diego, and Paula Hansen of Las Vegas; one son, Allan Nold, and one sister, Honey Calderone, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.
Stephen Matthew Rill
Stephen Matthew Rill, 23, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1979, in Wasco, Calif. A resident for one month, he was a computer programmer.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Alannah Rill of Las Vegas; one sister, Stephanie Rill, and his grandmother, Joan Grissom, both of Shafter, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Icy Dora Rux
Icy Dora Rux, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Kentucky. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Donald W. Rux and David L. Rux, both of Las Vegas, and Ronald A. Rux of Modesto, Calif.; two brothers, Mitchell R. Guinn and Frank D. Guinn and Nellie Riggs and Josephine Easley, all of Modesto; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Modesto. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Eileen Harlan Sager
Eileen Harlan Sager, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Hawarden, Iowa. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired government claims representative, a member of the Eastern Star and Zelzah Shrine Honored Ladies.
She is survived by four daughters, Charlene Falkner, Diana Christy and Donna Christy, all of Las Vegas, and Marie Sager of Seehonk, Mass.; one son, Chuck Sager of Las Vegas; three sisters, Esther Blowers of Arlington, Wash., Eleanor Estwick of Selah, Wash., and Alma McGovern of Yuma, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Shelly Ann Sparks, 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 19, 1956, in St. Cloud, Minn. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Tim; one daughter, Rachel Sparks, and one son, Justin Sparks, both of Las Vegas; her mother and stepfather, Janet and Bernie Resnik of North Dakota; her father and stepmother, Jack and Kay Stanley of Lynn Haven, Fla.; and five brothers, Mark Stanley, Bryant Stanley, Brad Resnik and Mike Resnik, all of Las Vegas, and Robert Resnik of Reno.

Larry E. Swan Sr., 61, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 14, 1941, in California. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired chemical engineer for the Clark County Sanitation District.
He is survived by his wife, Leonora; two daughters, Kara Force of Missouri and Heather Entz of Henderson; three daughters, Larry E. Swan Jr., Michael Parham and John Vega, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Helen Swan of Henderson; one brother, Ray Swan of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

He is survived by his parents, Debby and Glenn Taylor, one sister, Janice Duke, two brothers, Glenn Taylor Jr. and Maurice Taylor, his grandmother, Norma Duke, and his great-grandmother, Lillian Fennell, all of Las Vegas.

Chris Peter Tsouras, 81, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Yuma, Ariz. He was born July 8, 1921, in Bingham Canyon, Utah. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired casino boxman, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the Masons, El Zarhiba Temple and American Legion and past president of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Stacy A. Durazo of Yuma, Ariz.; one son, Christopher T. Tsouras, one sister, Venea Poulos, and one brother, George Tsouras, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
A Trisagion service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Church services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John the Baptist's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 S. El Camino Road. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Loren "Doc" Watson III, 57, of Las Vegas died Dec. 8 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 1, 1945, in Lake Tahoe, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a professor at Community College of Southern Nevada, a hotel manager, a Navy veteran, a member of Disabled American Veterans 34, Hotel-Motel Association, Hotel Managers Association and Certified Hotel Administrators.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; three sons, Rocky Watson, Jason Watson and Jeremy Watson, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Jennifer Latahan of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Dolly Fain of Houston; two sisters, Susan Crowe of Fort Collins, Colo., and Gail Omura of Hawaii; and two grandchildren.

Johnnie L. Williams, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born May 30, 1940, in Blaine, Miss. A resident for three years, he was a retired corrections officer, a Vietnam War Army veteran, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9978 and the American Legion, both in Anchorage, Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Lueron; two sons, Darius Williams of Las Vegas and Dietrich Williams of Seattle; four brothers, Edward Williams of East Prairie, Mo., Earl Williams Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., Eugene Williams of Torrance, Calif., and Dewayne Williams of Sikston, Mo.; eight sisters, Frances M. Bolton and Christine Mayo, both of Kansas City, Mo., Gertrude Armstrong of Grandview, Mo., Valerie Williams, Tammy Williams, Cynthia Williams and Earlene Williams, all of Sikston, and Dorothy Jean Williams of Indiana; and five grandchildren.
