CHICAGO -- McDonald's Corp. said today it expects to report its first-ever quarterly loss in the fourth quarter as it struggles through a year of sluggish sales in the United States and abroad.
Separately, McDonald's Corp. and Fazoli's agreed to form a joint venture that could lead McDonald's buying Fazoli's, an Italian food chain.
