Las Vegas-based Acres Gaming Inc. elected six members to its board of directors and ratified the selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers as its independent accountant during the company's annual shareholder meeting Wednesday.
Stockholders voted to adjourn the meeting until Dec. 23 to vote on a stock incentive plan.
"Like most small technology companies, we believe that options are a valuable tool in attracting and retaining employees," Acres Chief Executive Bud Glisson said. "(W)e believe it is in the company's and stockholders' best interest to provide more time for stockholders to vote on the plan."
