Post offices host Toys for Tots
The Henderson post offices, 404 Boulder Highway and 1575 Horizon Ridge Parkway, are hosting their annual "Toys For Tots" Christmas gift drives.
The gifts should be new, unwrapped and for a boy or girl and dropped off at either post office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., through Wednesday. Or, if someone is unable to get to the post office, the donor should give the gift to their letter carrier, who will get it to the post office.

High school plans fashion show
The "Falling into Spring" fashion show will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Palo Verde High School's theater, 333 Pavilion Court Drive.
The event is designed, managed and performed by students in fashion merchandising, marketing, theater, and costume design. The event will benefit Child Haven, DECA, and Renaissance Theater.

Hikes stretch mind, muscle
A variety of hikes and other programs offering physical as well as educational advantages are hosted each week by the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
The events are offered free of charge, but required reservations can be made for these and other activities by calling calling 363-1922:
Mystery March: A five-mile strenuous hike with Melissa to seek the unknown, Saturday.
Feeling Loopy III: A three-mile moderate hike to view the evergreens of Red Rock, Sunday.
Following Badger Trail: A six-mile moderately strenuous hike with Ranger Jack.
The Red Mountain Choir's
annual Christmas presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Artemus Ham Concert Hall at the University Nevada, Las Vegas.For more information, call 293-7553.
