Brokers launch firm focusing on Vegas hotels, casinos

Commercial real estate brokers Jack Carr and Harry Pflueger have left Insignia Hotel Partners, a New York City-based real estate company, to form Maxim Hotel Brokerage with offices in Newport Beach, Calif., and Las Vegas.

In the past year the brokers have sold the Maxim hotel-casino on Flamingo Road near the Strip, the Lady Luck hotel-casino downtown and the Crowne Plaza hotel on Paradise Road.

Maxim Hotel Brokerage will focus on selling hotels across the West with an emphasis on hotels and casinos in Las Vegas.
