Mary Elaine Eugene
Mary Elaine Eugene, 93, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 2, 1909, of Gas Point, Calif. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters Joanne Pattiani Molen of Las Vegas, Marilyn Eugene of Newcastle, Calif., and Mildred Loose of North Las Vegas; one son, William Eugene of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Dieter Kuckelmann
Dieter Kuckelmann, 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Lakeside, Ariz. He was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Germany. A resident for 35 years, he worked at McCarran Airport's parking garage, was a gaming employee for 20 years at the Fremont, Caesars Palace and Tropicana.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, James Kuckelmann and Bruce Talbot, both of Las Vegas; seven daughters, Sue Rettig and Deidra Seller, both of San Diego, Cheryl Burgess, Patricia Williams and Mercy Wade, all of Las Vegas, Jennifer Liston of Mesa, Ariz., and Kathy Poe of Lakeside; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
James H. Price
James H. Price, 76, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Rigby, Idaho. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired carpenter, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Carpenters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; four daughters, Carol Elaine Woodall and Linda Lynn Price, both of Las Vegas, and Clara Ann Denton and April Lynn Palmer, both of Henderson; two sons, Harold Fred Price of Arizona and William Iver Price of North Las Vegas; three sisters, Mary Hill of Cornelius, Ore., Donna Wadsworth of Great Falls, Mont., and Lucy Trainor of Fairfield, Mont.; two brothers, Joe Price and Pete Price, both of Great Falls; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the Family Home Hospice, 1701 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 102, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Emil Frank Prochaska
Emil Frank Prochaska, 92, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 30, 1910, in New York City. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired supervisor for 30 years at Grumman Aerospace in New York.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Prochaska of Northport, N.Y., and Thomas Prochaska of New York; and one sister, Ethel Taudel of New York.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Maecella L. Valandingham
Maecella L. Valandingham, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 2, 1948, in Hammond, Ind. A resident for 21 years, she was disabled.
She is survived by three sisters, Barbara Wontorski of Lakedale, Ind., Rosemary Winkler of Kingman, Ariz., and Audrey Zibulski of Detroit; and five brothers, Robert Valandingham, Kenneth Valandingham and Donald Valandingham, all of Kingman, Daniel Valandingham of Demotte, Ind., and Rube Valandingham of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ralph L. Walker
Ralph L. Walker, 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 7, 1945, in Beggs, Okla. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant, a Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.
He is survived by his wife, Lassie Hudson Walker; one daughter, Rilitsa "Lisa" Byers of Germany; one stepdaughter, Nicole Bailey, and one stepson, Henry Clay Jr., both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Iva Wells, Annette Mapp and Verna Branch, all of Rock Island, Ill.; three brothers, Oscar Smith of Los Angeles and Gene Smith and R.L. Walker, both of Detroit; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main.
