Most influential men named

The weekly newspaper In Business Las Vegas has unveiled its 2002 list of the most influential men in Southern Nevada business. In Business is a sister newspaper to the Las Vegas Sun.

Eighteen men were named to the list Friday, joining 64 others named in 2000 and 2001.

Those honored this year: Glenn Christenson, chief financial officer of Station Casinos Inc.; Cornelius Eason, president of Priority Staffing USA; Richard Fraim, general manager of KLAS-TV; Brad Friedmutter, president of the Friedmutter Group; Ed Guthrie, executive director of Opportunity Village; Robert Hamrick, chief executive of Coldwell Banker Premier Realty; Walter Higgins III, chief executive of Sierra Pacific Resources; Steve Hill, president of Silver State Materials Corp.; Frank Martin, chief executive of Martin-Harris Construction; James Murren, chief financial officer of MGM MIRAGE; Steve Petruska, area president for Pulte Homes and Del Webb Communities; Felix Rappaport, president of New York-New York hotel-casino; Clark County Manager Thomas Reilly; John Restrepo, principal of Restrepo Consulting Group; Robert "Tim" Snow, president of Thomas & Mack Development Group; A. Allan Stipe, chief executive of Sunrise Healthcare System; Thomas Warden, vice president of commun! ity and government relations at the Howard Hughes Corp and Harvey Whittemore, shareholder in the law firm Lionel Sawyer & Collins.
