Letter: Limit terms of president, congressmen

Methinks it is time for term limits. Our congressmen and senators take office and, for most, their main goal is to be re-elected. Let us change this.

Make it one three-year term for representatives, one four-year term for senators and one eight-year term for presidents. We don't need career politicians.

There are plenty of capable men and women who would gladly serve one term and move out of government office.

Let us give more of them the opportunity to do so.
