Assembly committee assignments released

Assembly Speaker Richard Perkins, D-Henderson, and Assembly Minority Leader Lynn Hettrick, R-Gardnerville, finalized appointments to all committees Tuesday.
Democrats have just a one-seat majority over Republicans in Education, Transportation and Ways and Means.
