Margaret Bertelmann
Margaret Bertelmann, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Nebraska. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Patti Gliottone and Barbara Donaldson, and one son, William Bertelmann, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Verna Severa of Las Vegas, Mildred Roth of Ellis, Kan., and Betsy Smith of Creighton, Neb.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 3 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Richard M. Gartner
Richard M. Gartner, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Albany, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired bank account adjuster and a Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three sons, Kenneth Gartner and Shawn Paulsen, both of Las Vegas, and Richard Patey of Waianae, Hawaii; two daughters, Linda King of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Christine Pellerin of Delanson, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Knab, UT.
Arthur Kohler
Arthur Kohler, 85, of Las Vegas died in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 13, 1916, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Merchant Marines first assistant engineer.
He is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Kucia of Allentown, Pa., and Ruth Kohler-Gumpo and Annabell Smith, both of Valencia, Pa.
Visitation is scheduled 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Lenore M. Leeson
Lenore M. Leeson, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1922, in Freeport, Ill. A resident for four years, she was a retired secretary for a moving company.
She is survived by her husband, Martin; one son, Roland Wonder of Downers Grove,. Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Jaunita Laurie Marshall
Jaunita Laurie Marshall, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 7, 1920, in St. Louis. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired flight coordinator for TWA and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary and Stroke of Luck Club.
She is survived by one brother, Robert S. Lansche of San Rafael, Calif.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Spring Valley Baptist Church, 3135 S. Rainbow Blvd. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Animal Sanctuary, 4800 W. Dewey Drive, or the donor's favorite charity.
Marjorie R. Riddels
Marjorie R. Riddels, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 5, 1917, in Atumwa, Iowa. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Ron Riddels of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
James Lincoln Smith
James Lincoln Smith, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 12, 1920, in New York City. A resident of North Las Vegas and Matthews, N.C., he was a case worker for the city government, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the American Contract Bridge League and was a Little League baseball coach.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; and one daughter, Eleze Olivia Smith.
He is survived by one son, Stanton; one son, Stanton Smith of North Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
