Ralston to host election discussion
Jon Ralston, Las Vegas Sun columnist, host of "Face to Face With Jon Ralston" on Las Vegas ONE, and political commentator on KLAS Channel 8, will present a discussion on the election Wednesday at the Four Seasons hotel.
"Election 2002: Possible Outcomes and What It Means to Las Vegas" will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. Admission is $35 with reservation, $45 at the door (includes breakfast).

Cactus Jack gives Red Rock talks
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers hikes, walks and programs free of charge. Reservations are required. To make reservations or for more information on the upcoming programs, call 363-1922:
Cactus Jack: He gives 15 to 20-minute programs from 9 a.m. until noon Tuesdays all month, on a variety of topics related to Red Rock.
Strolling in the Canyon: An easy one-mile walk Sunday in the canyon to explore and learn about some of the canyon's secrets.
