Family Shopping
The Las Vegas Harvest Festival Craft Show will be held at 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Cashman Center, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Activities include an arts and crafts marketplace, crafts demonstrations, entertainment and food. Admission is $7.50 for all three days. 386-7100.
Summer Fun
The City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services will hold a swap meet 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Brinley Community School, 6150 Smoke Ranch Road. 646-9046.
The department will also hold its second annual Corn Boil 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Las Vegas Senior Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road. Cost is $1 per ear of corn. 229-6454.
The department is also sponsoring "Seniors in Motion," a walker hike at Mt. Charleston Deer Creek. Hikers should bring lunch and water and meet at 8 a.m. Thursday at Dula Gym, 441 E. Bonanza Road. Cost is $1. 229-6307.
Ballet
The Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre will hold an open house 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Cultural Center, 1651 Inner Circle. Admission is free. 243-2623.
Youths
The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre will hold auditions for "Charlotte's Web" noon Saturday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. 229-6553.
Broadcasters
The seventh Annual Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame Dinner Dance will be held 6 p.m. Saturday at Green Valley Ranch Station Casino, 2197 Paseo Verde Parkway. Tickets are $75, with advance reservations needed. 794-4994.
Ballroom
The U.S. Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association and Rebel Dance Sport present an August Dance, 7 p.m. Saturday at Dance Fitness and Sport, 633 N. Decatur. Admission is $7, students and members $5. 656-8690.
