Clarification
Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002 | 9:19 a.m.
To clarify a story in the Aug. 15 Voter's Guide, Rachelle Resnick, a lawyer for more than 10 years who is admitted to the bars of Nevada and Texas, is running for Family Court judge in Department L. A former court clerk for two family court judges, Resnick, 37, helped start the Clark County Self-Help Center and is now the program manager.
Resnick said her goal is to make the court more user friendly by streamlining the process, especially in the filing of certain motions.
"Litigants want an opportunity to tell their side, to be treated with respect and receive an expeditious and fair decision," she said.
