LV firm in online gambling pact

Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002 | 8:29 a.m.

Internet gambling company i2corp.com has entered into a research and development agreement with Triple Win In Nevada, a bingo game developer and industry consultant based in Las Vegas.

An i2corp subsidiary, Home Gambling Network, owns a patent that covers live remote gambling involving electronic fund transfers. The company recently relocated its headquarters from Las Vegas to California to more effectively recruit software development talent and take advantage of a California law that allows for live remote horse racing.

The company is partnering with Triple Win to develop a live remote bingo game that "the operator, regulator and players will recognize and immediately feel comfortable with," i2corp President and Chief Executive Officer Chris Almida said.

Triple Win, an 11-year-old company located on Industrial Road, is primarily a distributor of bingo products but also develops games featured in major casinos.
