Vegas technology firm sells subsidiary

PurchasePro, a Las Vegas technology company, today announced it's selling its Stratton Warren unit for $2.5 million in cash to Georgia-based Inter-American Data, a provider of software products and services to the hospitality industry.

PurchasePro also announced an alliance in which it and IAD will offer purchasing services to the hospitality industry.

PurchasePro said in October 2000 it was purchasing Stratton Warren in a deal worth under $15 million in stock and cash.

The stock of PurchasePro advanced 3 cents this morning to 31 cents.
