The 2002 UNLV men's soccer season will mark the 28th year in which the Peter Johann Memorial Scholarship will benefit a Las Vegas native on the team.
Sophomore defender Chris Henderson, a local product out of Green Valley High School in Henderson, is this year's scholarship recipient. As a rookie in 2001, Henderson played in 13 games with one shot on goal.
He is a biology major at UNLV and the son of Steve and Karen Henderson.
