Peccole L.L. wins again in West Regional

The 11-12-year-old Peccole Little League team of Las Vegas defeated Laramie, Wyo., 5-2 on Monday to remain unbeaten (2-0) in the Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, Calif.

Peccole, the Nevada state champions, plays the Northern California representative (Aptos, Calif.) tonight at 8 in the pool-play event. Peccole plays Southern California (West Anaheim) on Wednesday.

The semifinals are scheduled for Sunday, with the championship set for Monday. The winner of the six-team regional advances to the World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
