Contrary to what have been Republican talking points of late, President Bush's Harken oil stock sale and allegations of inside trading have not, repeat not, been investigated and cleared him of all wrongdoing.
Recently, amid the usual fanfare and camera mugging, Bush signed a law that states, in part, "no more easy money for corporate criminals, just hard time." Bush further stated, "This law says every dishonest corporate leader will be exposed and punished."
My question to Bush is: Will this be retroactive to include your questionable dealings as well as Vice President Dick Cheney's Halliburton tango with alleged book-cooking?
And why has no Enron criminal been indicted and when can we expect this to happen?
