BASEBALL
Cimarron-Memorial 12, Mojave 1: Chris Davila went 3-for-4 with three runs, Matt Seccombe went 3-for-3 with two runs and Garrett Kohler allowed no earned runs in five innings, striking out six for the Spartans.
Bonanza 6, Sierra Vista 5: Trailing 5-4 with two outs in the seventh, the Bengals rallied for two runs on a RBI double by Mark Severino and an RBI single by Keath Beall. Beall finished 2-for-4 with two runs, while Andrew Smith was 2-for-4 with four RBIs.
Green Valley 9, Coronado 0: Paul Vignola tossed a complete-game four-hitter, striking out nine, and Kevin Day homered to lead the Gators. Josh Williams, Eric Durante and Elliott Thorpe all had two hits for Green Valley, with Eugene Edwards adding a pair of RBIs.
Valley 9, Desert Pines 7: John Dicku had two hits, scored two runs and picked up the victory on the mound, and Jimmy Fraser went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs for the Vikings.
Durango 13, Western 2: Nick Bumstead homered and drove in four runs, Danny Kelly went 2-for-3 with his ninth homer of the year and Rob Martinez held the Warriors to one earned run in five innings, striking out six. Randy Bloomquist went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run for Western.
Clark 5, Bishop Gorman 4, 9 inn.: The Chargers rallied with a run in the seventh to force extra innings, matched the Gaels with a run in the eighth to extend the game again, then won when Danny Rock's single scored Devin Ritholz from second base. Jason Diekmann pitched all nine inning for Clark, yielding eight hits and two walks and striking out two.
SOFTBALL
Las Vegas 10, Chaparral 0: Sara Minniear held the Cowboys to one hit in five innings, striking out six and walking one. Danielle Dugan went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs and Ashley Ogle was 2-for-2 with an RBI for the Wildcats.
Green Valley 8, Coronado 2: Meghan Haley tossed a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and Nikki Dorn went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple for the Gators.
Centennial 8, Foothill 6: Shannon Crisp struck out nine of the 11 batters she faced to pick up the win in relief, and went 2-for-4 with an RBI double at the plate for the Bulldogs. Ashleigh McBeath went 3-for-3 with a two-run double for Centennial, while Roxanne Ritchie and Kim Anchowski had two hits apiece for the Falcons.
Durango 21, Western 4: Stefanie Fisco doubled, homered, scored three runs and drove in five to lead the Blazers to victory.
Palo Verde 4, Cheyenne 2: Renee Dipuccio struck out 10 of 14 batters to win in relief, as the Panthers rallied from a 2-1 deficit.
Clark 8, Bishop Gorman 7: The Chargers platted five runs in the first and held on to win.
Valley 10, Desert Pines 0 : Sarah Leavitt struck out 17 batters to lead the Vikings to the shutout win.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Foothill def. Silverado, 4-15, 15-11, 15-13, 13-15, 15-13: Alex Funtila dished out 68 assists, Kyle Clark had 30 kills and six blocks and Chris Moore added 22 kills for the Falcons. The Skyhawks got 52 assists and six aces from Lewis Miranda, 16 kills from David Peterson and 14 kills from Brad Royal.
BOYS SWIMMING
Bonanza 151, Bishop Gorman 98
GIRLS SWIMMING
Bishop Gorman 147, Bonanza 139: The Gaels won the final event, the 400 freestyle relay, in 4:02.68, to break a 134-134 tie and win the meet. Michelle Valpiani (200 free, 500 free) and Angelina Colavito (50 free, 100 back) won two events each for Gorman, while Liane Publow captured the 200 IM and 100 fly for the Bengals.
