For the United States to become involved in the brutal fighting in Israel would be a mistake in view of the tensions in the Middle East. The anti-American sentiment in this region has turned into a powder keg of emotions.
A majority of Americans recently polled about the situation in Israel and Palestine responded that the United States should not play a leading role in trying to get a peace agreement.
It is a pitiful fact that those Palestinian suicide bombers are blowing up and maiming poor innocent Israelis. Lots of Israelis are scared to go out of their houses. They fear they will be killed. What a tragedy this is. Will there ever be peace between Israel and Palestine?
