Raymond Lee Allen

Raymond Lee Allen, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Iowa. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired NASA engine supervisor, a Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and the Moose.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; one son, Michael Allen of Lakehead, Calif.; one daughter, Catherine Roha of Quartz Hill, Calif.; one sister, Pat Sherer of Hazel Dell, Wash.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Oregon. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Cathy Ann Boatwright

Cathy Ann Boatwright, 47, of Las Vegas died Friday in Houston. She was born Dec. 30, 1954, in Mississippi. A resident for several years, she was a social worker.

She is survived by three daughters, Ramona Boatwright, Jamie Boatwright and Connie Boatwright, her mother and stepfather, Brevell and Robert Baxter, two sisters, Sandra Fay Williams and Brenda Marie Howard, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Paul J. Budz

Paul J. Budz, 57, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Chicago. A resident for 18 years, he was a gaming supervisor and a member of the National Aeronautic Association.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; two daughters, Paula Stephens and Sarah Budz, both of Henderson; one sister, Lorraine McKennon of Orland Park, Ill.; and one brother, James Budz of Matteson, Ill.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Aaron LaVonn Butler

Aaron LaVonn Butler, 31, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 21, 1971, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 29 years, he was a campus monitor at Desert Pines High School.

He is survived by his wife, Diedre; two sons, Vladamir and Franqui his parents, William and Pearl Kendrick, one sister, Waledah Kendrick, and one brother, Clayton Kendrick, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Friday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Ignacio Castano

Ignacio Castano, 78, of Las Vegas died April 14 in a local hospital. He was born April 4, 1924, in Florence, Ariz. A resident for 28 years, he was a hotel steward at Caesars Palace and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Simonic; one son, Gilbert Castano; and two sisters, Mine Barigna and Socorro Gonzalez, both of Arizona.

A memorial service will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

James Richard Chamberlain

James Richard Chamberlain, 50, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 29, 1952, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for 23 years, he was a lawyer, a member of the Boy Scouts, American Diabetes Association and the Alumni Association at Brigham Young University.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth, and two daughters, Kaitlin Nicole Chamberlain, all of Fallon; one son, Jais Edward Chamberlain of Henderson; one stepdaughter, Lauren Elizabeth DeLullo of Fallon; one stepson, Shane Matthew DeLullo of Las Vegas; one sister, Cynthia Ann Smith of Houston; and one brother, Alben Joseph Chamberlain of San Bernardino.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Friday in the LDS Galleria chapel. Burial will be in San Bernardino. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Elena Clanny

Elena Clanny, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1933, in Malden, Mass. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired telephone company supervisor.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Miranda; two brothers, Joseph Cafarella and Rudy Cafarella, and one sister, Mary Cafarella, all of Malden.

Services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6000 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 9C, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Alice Doucette Duperry

Alice Doucette Duperry, 68, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 25, 1933, in Waterville, Maine. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired food service employee for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by her husband, Richard H.; two daughters, Sally Mosher of Dexter, Mass., and Susie Phares of Meadville, Pa.; one son, Ray Bulger of Des Moines, Wash.; two sisters, Linda Little of Shawmut, Maine, and Peggy Doucette of Fairfield, Maine; one brother, Ronald Doucette of Waterville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Warren Albert Goode

Warren Albert Goode, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 13, 1921, in Albany, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, he was a surveyor and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Louis B. Granato

Louis B. Granato, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Detroit. A resident for two weeks, he was a tool and die machinist and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Robert Granato of Las Vegas; one daughter, Anita Cashin of Pottsboro, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial was private.

Marcie Lee Hill

Marcie Lee Hill, 87, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1914, in Waskom, Texas. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Hill of Las Vegas; one sister, Lee Dorothy Kemp of Shreveport, La.; 10 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann Jones, 40, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 9, 1961, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a home health caretaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Taneisha Jones, two sons, Marcus Jones and Eric Jones, one brother, Anthony Jones, five sisters, Rhonda Mayfield, Shirley Crockett, Larreda McCormick, Brenda Jenkins and Cherice Bowden, and her mother, Earline Mayfield, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Barbara Jean Kehl

Barbara Jean Kehl, 50, of Henderson died April 18 in a local hospital. She was born March 11, 1952, in Waterloo, Iowa. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, David Henley of Spokane, Wash.; her father, James Henley of Henderson; and one sister, Gloria Henley of Las Vegas.

Tracey Tolsby

Tracey Tolsby, 38, of Las Vegas died April 16 in a local hospice. He was born July 9, 1963, in California. A resident for six years, he was a dental hygienist.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Mahoney; one brother, Walter Merritt; and three sisters, Tony Lorance, Rosemary Valencia and Mitzi Gaynor.

Henry Voorvart

Henry Voorvart, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Valley Junction, Iowa. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired plumber and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen A.; two daughters, Susan Baker of Mill Valley, Calif., and Linda Kutcher of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Muse of Porterville, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Douglas E. Ward

Douglas E. Ward, 57, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. He was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Abilene, Texas. A resident for 37 years, he owned and operated a moving and storage business, co-founded and was a former board member of North American Van Lines Agent's Association, former member on the board of directors of Employers Association of Nevada, Nevada Motor Transport Association, Boulder City Rifle and Pistol Club and Nevada State Rifle and Pistol Association, a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Henderson Chamber of Commerce, North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, Southern Nevada Business Association, Better Business of Nevada, Nevada Yacht Club, Boulder City Men's Golf Association, Nevada Development Authority and Sigma Chi Fraternity while attending the University of Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy K.; four daughters, Laura Hubel and Tammy Ward, both of Boulder City, Julie Ward-Glenn of San Diego and Robyn Ward of Las Vegas; two sons, Ron Hubel of Boulder City and Rick Glenn of San Diego; his mother, Opal Hart of Tucson; his father, Arlo Ward of Eugene, Ore.; two sisters, Barbara Jewett of Yuma, Ariz., and Sylvia Pickins of Eugene; three brothers, Richard Ward of Boulder City, Arlo Ward Jr. of Eugene and Eugene Tracy of Buckeye, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Norma Lingad Ybabao

Norma Lingad Ybabao, 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 30, 1944, in the Philippines. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bayani; three sons, Ernani L. Ybabao, Percival Ybabao and Philip L. Ybabao; two daughters, Perla Singian and Mra. Pamela L. Ybabao; four brothers, Jose Lingad, Santiago Lingad, Timoteo Lingad and Pedro Lingad; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
