BASEBALL
Centennial 6, Cheyenne 2: Julius Rivera went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run s and Rob Arata was 3-for-4 in the Bulldogs' victory.
Bishop Gorman 16, Western 6: Chris Ortiz went 4-for-4, Dan Mangiapani was 3-for-4, Joe Stamis went 3-for-4 and Anthony Garcia drove in three runs for the Gaels.
Foothill 14, Green Valley 4: Brian Holsey went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, two RBIs, a double and a triple, Ricky Cerrone hit a grand slam and Jabe Beard went 3-for-3 for the Falcons.
Bonanza 9, Clark 1: Dustin Molisee went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs and Billy Osgood went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Bengals.
Cimarron-Memorial 10, Palo Verde 6: Matt Secombe, Curtis Blake, Chris Davila, Allen Wooodward, Jared Johnson, Jorge Esquivel and Matt Wagner all had two hits in the Spartans' victory.
Silverado 16, Coronado 3: Jared Ferdinand, Cody Willis, Jeremy Reynolds and Anthony Vita had two hits apiece for the Skyhawks.
Las Vegas 6, Eldorado 5: Dan McKean struck out nine batters in six innings and Sean Kazmar went 2-for-3 for the Wildcats.
Durango 4, Sierra Vista 2: Jeff Jacobsen struck out six and scattered four hits in seven innings, Coltyn Simmons and Danny Kelly had two hits apiece and Robbie Jacobson homered to lead the Blazers. Michael Seerup hit a two-run homer for the Lions.
SOFTBALL
Eldorado 3, Las Vegas 2: Brently Bridgeforth struck out nine, and smacked a triple at the plate and Jeriann Martin had the game-winning RBI for the Sundevils. Ashley Ogle had a triple for the Wildcats.
Bonanza 1, Clark 0, 8 inn.: Trisha DeSimone struck out 12, walked two and gave up only two hits and Kim Devenberg knocked in the game-winning run for the Bengals.
Silverado 17, Coronado 0: Emilee Moores went 4-for-4 with a double and a triple, and Julie Brand and Cassie Koenig had two hits apiece for the Skyhawks.
Durango 8, Sierra Vista 2: Stefanie Fisco belted a three-run homer to lead the Trailblazers to victory.
Centennial 17, Cheyenne 0: Shannon Crisp struck out 10 in a two-hit shutout, Ashley Dean scored five runs and Dani Delgado and Tori Healy had two hits apiece for the Bulldogs.
Palo Verde 10, Cimarron-Memorial 0: Renee Dipuccio tossed a five-inning complete game with 10 strikeouts to lead the Panthers.

Palo Verde def. Cheyenne, 15-4, 15-6, 15-13: Pete Rigg slammed 10 kills with three blocks, Dan Davis had eight kills, Thomas Steffen had 10 kills with seven blocks and Rob Zsiga had six kills with 10 blocks for the Panthers.
Durango def. Western, 15-3, 15-11, 15-6: Ken Huffman had 35 assists, Neal Aboul-Hosn collected 10 kills with three blocks and Victor Bordinhao slammed 11 kills with seven digs in the Trailblazers' victory. Ron Adkins had 19 assists and Matt Stout added 10 kills for the Warriors.
