2nd Race -- WILLY'S WAY - Hot bug boy Krigger aboard co-owner Dutton Stables Dutton trainee, draws good post for sprint, where there is a Willy's there's a Way? DIAMOND DAWN - Draws rail post in Cal-bred maiden-claimer, Santa Anita champ Solis atop young Dollace trainee, adds blinkers for this. Value Play -- FIRST INSIGHT
3rd Race -- BLUE STELLER - Irish-bred draws outside box in turf route outing, Desormeaux on Frankel trainee, dangerous combo. GULCHIE - British-bed draws good rail post, hustling Espinoza on Shirreffs trainee for owner Thoroughbred Corporation, could sit the right trip here. Value Play -- THE PRICE SPIRIT
4th Race -- TREACHEROUS ZONE - Part of Dutton Stables-owned & Dutton-trained coupled entry with TWO THIRTY SEVEN, Pincay here, Desormeaux there, 2-for-1. HOT GRIP - Part of Dominguez-trained coupled entry with SHOECO CITY, hustling Espinoza here, Jaime there, another pair for one shot. Value Play -- SPLENDID NATURE
5th Race -- RED BRIAR - Irish-bred draws good post for short turf sprint stakes, Stevens aboard Sahadi trainee, rider fits this guy well. ECSTATIC - Draws alongside top pick, Espinoza's first call on Baffert trainee for owner Thoroughbred Corporation, respect connections at a price. Value Play -- IRISH VALE
6th Race -- WIDOW BLACK - Pincay atop one of two O'Neill-trained entries, draws good post for sprint claimer, backers hope Widow put them in the Black. SLEWS TOON - P. Val on Sise trainee, draws good box for the trip, should be a forward factor with addition of blinkers for this. Value Play -- RIGHTBYU
7th Race -- STARTAC - Promising runner returns to races in turf mile here, Smith aboard Deseroux trainee, training solidly at San Luis Rey training center. THADY QUILL - Returns to course of liking, Delahoussaye stays on Frankel trainee, should be making late impact here. Value Play -- MARINE
