Letter: Nevada Power playing games?

We are not first-time buyers -- this is our third home here in Vegas -- but we are among others who to Nevada Power are "new customers." I would like to have someone from Nevada Power answer this question: Is all this a rumor?

Is Nevada Power playing hardball? Or is the company attempting to pressure the builders to have them put pressure on the utilities commissioners to change the unawarded money? Are we, the new home buyers, being punished for something we had nothing to do with?

We also found out that Nevada Power conveniently forgot that a $170 million dollar check was in the mail from the government -- any comment on that?
