Weber’s computer offers little help

Metro Police are searching through double murder suspect Timmy J. Weber's computer for evidence as officers continue trying to locate the 28-year-old seven-time felon.

Police also searched the Shady Acres trailer park on Main Street near Washington Avenue Wednesday looking for Weber but didn't find him. Weber lived at the trailer park, which his family at one time managed.

Officers passed out fliers to residents as the area was searched, said Lt. Tom Monahan of Metro's homicide unit.

The trailer park is close to the home of Kim Gautier on First Street where she and her 15-year-old son, Anthony Gautier, were found slain on April 4. Weber has been charged with killing the pair and assaulting Gautier's 14-year-old daughter.

Weber's computer is being examined by detectives in the Internet Crimes Against Children unit. Police had previously found that Weber posted an Internet website page describing himself and posting a picture. Police determined the site had been put up more than a year before the killings and provided little information.

Police had said Weber was believed to have fled the area after the slayings, but Sunday he allegedly attacked Gautier's surviving 17-year-old son, Christopher, in the family's home. The teen had returned to the home Sunday to pick up some items before a service for his mother and brother.

Police said Weber fled the home and then eluded a massive manhunt Sunday.

Anyone with information or suspect they have spotted Weber are asked to call Metro's homicide unit at 229-3521, Secret Witness at 385-5555 or the department's nonemergency number 311. If Weber is seen, residents are urged to call 911.
