BASEBALL
Centennial 11, Mojave 1: Brian Simpson tossed a complete game two-hitter with four strikeouts and no walks to lead the Bulldogs. Chris Bonnell went 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI, Julius Rivera was 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs and Andy Primas went 2-for-2 with two runs and 2 RBIs for the victors.
Bishop Gorman 21, Sierra Vista 3: Russ Warthen pitched four innings of three-hit baseball, striking out four and hitting two home runs with six RBIs. Anthony Garcia also smacked a homer for the Gaels.
Coronado 3, Boulder City 0: Kevin Fetnzer threw a complete game shutout, Louis Greb had two doubles and Chase Billington had a pair of RBIs in the Cougars' win.
Durango 5, Bonanza 0: Jeff Jacobsen threw a no-hittter for the Trailblazers, striking out 12 and walking one.
Cimarron-Memorial 6, Cheyenne 2: Jared Johnson went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a home run and Chris Davila was 2-for-4 with two runs in the Spartans' win.
Clark 16, Western 11: Ed Dorville went 4-for-4 with a double, Jason Diekmann went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and two doubles, Brad Daugherty went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs and Donny Bridges hit a grand slam for the Chargers.
Foothill 5, Basic 4: Brian Holsey went 3-for-3, James Brady was 2-for-3 and Josh Daneshforooz went 2-for-2 for the Falcons. For Basic, Matt Elliot was 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
Silverado 10, Green Valley 0: Tyler Coon tossed a complete game, yielding only four hits with 11 strikeouts and two walks and Jared Ferdinand went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in the sixth for the Skyhawks.
Chaparral 4, Eldorado 2: Robert Templeton pitched a complete game and struck out 10, Eric Stolz went 3-for-4 and Brandon Huff was 3-for-3 with an RBI in the Cowboys' victory. Chris Guerra went 3-for-3 with a home run for the Sundevils.
Las Vegas 10, Valley 0: Pete White tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out nine and walking one, and Sean Kazmar went 2-for-4 with four RBIs for the Wildcats.

Las Vegas 5, Valley 0: Brieanna Kinard tossed a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and Caroline Fernandez knocked in a three-run home run for the Wildcats.
Centennial 3, Mojave 0: Shannon Crisp threw a perfect game through seven innings with 12 strikeouts while going 3-for-3 with two RBIs and scoring a run for the Bulldogs.
Rancho 17, Desert Pines 7: Shelly Council smacked a grand slam in the Rams' victory. Andrea Shepherd hit a two-run home run and Maria Serna and Melissa Picoli each had triples for the Jaguars.
Cimarron-Memorial 13, Cheyenne 12: Lindi Kennedy had three RBIs for the Spartans. Tiffany Abott chipped in in a double for the Desert Shields.
Eldorado 6, Chaparral 0: Brently Bridgeforth struck out nine batters and Jamie Larsen went 3-for-4 for the Sundevils.
Durango 3, Bonanza 1: Sara Spenia hit a double in Durango's win after both teams racked up five hits and three errors.
Coronado 14, Boulder City 4: Candace Mikkelsen went 2-for-4, Bonnie Erbe hit a triple and Nicole Meyer had a double for the Cougars.
Foothill 9, Basic 0: Brittany Brady pitched a complete-game three hitter, Roxanne Ritchie went 3-for-4 with a triple and Rebecca Ritchie drove in two runs for the Falcons.
