Robert G. Bero

Robert G. Bero, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1927, in Wheeling, W.Va. A resident for two years, he was a retired electrician, a Navy veteran, a member of Elks Lodge 28, Cave Club, Warwood Veterans Association, past president of Steel Workers Local 5760 and Omal Employee Credit Union, supervisor for the Chateau Kam Development and was a minor league baseball player.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis L.; two sons, Robert A. Bero of Las Vegas and Patrick S. Bero of Clarkson, Mich.; two sisters, Nancy DeSantis and Margaret Calissie, both of Wheeling, W.Va.; and two grandchildren.

All services will be held through Kepner Funeral Home Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, WV 26003. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling local arrangements including an upcoming local memorial service.

The family suggests donations to St. Matthew Episcopal Church, Wheeling, W.Va.

Ruth T. Boyer

Ruth T. Boyer, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 17, 1927, in Latrobe, Pa. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Vets and Cooties.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Beisel, and one son, Raymond Boyer, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Paul Sandacz, one sister, Ellen Watkins, both of Florida; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.

Anna Buscemi

Anna Buscemi, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 7, 1913, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Esther Sardina of Las Vegas; four sons, Joseph Buscemi, Dominic Buscemi, Salvatore Buscemi and John Buscemi, one brother, Vince Tomasello, and one sister, Maria Scaglione, all of San Diego; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

All services will be held through Goodbody Mortuary, 5027 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA 92115. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled local arrangements.

Arcangel Cabildo

Arcangel Cabildo, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born May 8, 1919, in the Philippines. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Cabildo of Duarte, Calif., and Ferdinand Cabildo of the Philippines; four daughters, Sandy Leeny, Venus Medrano, Jessica Buenaventura and Cynthia Okada; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Tecia McShell Coleman

Tecia McShell Coleman, 35, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 14, 1966, in Columbus. A lifelong resident she was a medical assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Smith; one daughter, Manicka Coleman, one son, Marsaun Coleman, her mother, Deloris Amis, her father and stepmother, Thomas and Geraldine Coleman, her stepfather, Garnett Jones, one sister, Tawndra Coleman, one brother, Thomas Coleman Jr., and her grandparents, Willie Mae Coleman and James and Emma Lee Cooper, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Otie Lee Davis Sr.

Otie Lee Davis Sr., 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Arista, W.Va. A resident for 13 years, he was a coal miner and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Otie Lee Davis Jr. of Carson City and Johnnie Ray Davis of Buena Park, Calif.; one daughter, Sybol Jane Arellano of Mexicali, Mexico; one sister, Ethell Meadows of Pipes Steam, W.Va.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be private. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Paul R. Dempsey

Paul R. Dempsey, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 19, 1912, in Kansas. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired truck driver, a member of Teamsters Local 81 and a former member of the Masons.

He is survived by one daughter, Donna Dolph of Las Vegas; two sons, Dennis Dean Dempsey of Ontario, Calif., and William Joel Dempsey; one brother, Wallace Dean Dempsey of Gentry, Ark.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Danny Peggy Gant

Danny Peggy Gant, 87, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 11, 1914, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for 43 years, she was a movie stuntwoman.

She is survived by her husband, Jim W.

Chester Joseph Grace

Chester Joseph Grace, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 13, 1918, in Depew, N.Y. A resident for seven years, he was a retired electronics buyer and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church Seniors Club and Desert Springs Hospital Heart Club.

He is survived by one son, Jeffrey Grace of Chatsworth, Calif.; one daughter, Norine Rathbone of Las Vegas; one sister, Joan Roman of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and one brother, Richard Grzesik of Lancaster, N.Y.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Frankie Earlene Jones

Frankie Earlene Jones, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born May 22, 1930, in Jackson, Tenn. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Lawson Jones; three daughters, Kim Healey of Henderson, Donna R. Andrews of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Bonnie Jones of Santee, Calif.; three sons, Dave Holmes of Chicago, Joseph Jones of Las Vegas and Jack Jones Jr. of Santee; her mother, Ruth Askew of Henderson; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Odyssey Hospice, 4011 McLeod Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Milton J. Kramer

Milton J. Kramer, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born July 20, 1933, in Hannibal, Mo. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired time share salesman and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; one daughter, Angie Kramer of Las Vegas; one sister, Jeanette Kleese of Henderson; and one grandson.

Darren Roland Langlais

Darren Roland Langlais, 34, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 21, 1967, in England. A resident for many years, he was a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his father, James Allen Bizzard of Louisville, Neb.; and his mother, Patricia Anne Bizzard of Clearfield, Utah.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Utah. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Josefina Ochoa

Josefina Ochoa, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 4, 1929, in Los Angeles. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bonifacio; three sons, Juan, Roberto and Jose; two daughters, Soledad Ochoa and Juana Soto; one brother, Luis Ramirez; two sisters, Guadalupe Maravilla and Carmen Vasquez; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 6:30 p.m. service today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Bernard Ocrant

Bernard Ocrant, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born June 1, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retail sales manager and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, Barry; one sister, Sylvia Stein of Chicago; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Lucille C. Phillips

Lucille C. Phillips, 96, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 18, 1905, in Tularosa, N.M. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a retired music teacher and a founding member of the El Paso Rose Society.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Carolyn Armstrong of Las Vegas; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9:30-10 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Chapel, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Maria Picoy

Maria Picoy, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 2, 1917, in Santa Fe, Argentina. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Felicia Diaz, and two sons, Anthony Picoy and Carlos Picoy, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Iris DiGiusto of Argentina; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Maxine S. Robichaud

Maxine S. Robichaud, 88, of Las Vegas died April 4 in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 4, 1914, in Herington, Kan. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for the federal government and a member of the Officers Club at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver.

She is survived by four sons, Timothy Morgan and Kevin Morgan, both of Aurora, Colo., Shannon Morgan of Grand Junction, Colo., and James Robichaud of Las Vegas; five daughters, Mary Pamela Morgan, Bernadette Carver, Yvette Robichaud, Denise Vincent and Suzanne Garcia, all of Las Vegas; and 17 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Rosario T. Rainbolt

Rosario T. Rainbolt, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 27, 1927, in the Philippines. A resident for four years, she was a retired sales clerk for Kmart and a deaconess for the Church of Christ.

She is survived by four daughters, Glenda Vigan and Myrna Flores, both of Las Vegas, Rosie Jane Rainbolt of Milpitas, Calif., Zenaida Benedicto of Lamoore, Calif.; one son, Roberto Guiao of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Tanghal of Phoenix; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. today, Thursday and Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Rose E. Repp

Rose E. Repp, 63, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospice. She was born June 15, 1938, in Budapest, Hungary. A resident for 25 years, she was a restaurant hostess at the Showboat hotel-casino for 40 years.

She is survived by one son, Alex Repp; two daughters, Michelle Tirey and Angella Repp; one brother, Gabe Nagy; and eight grandchildren.

Raynette Sawamura

Raynette Sawamura, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 22, 1948, in Honolulu. A resident for three years, she was a hotel floral designer.

She is survived by her husband, Jonathan; her parents, Nora and Anthony Robello of Kaneohe, Hawaii; one brother, Karl Robello of Tucson; and two sisters, Hauleni Owens of Kaneohe and Luana Keonaka of Honolulu.

Ruby M. Schrey

Ruby M. Schrey, 92, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., died April 5 in Palm Springs, Calif. She was born June 2, 1909, in California. A former resident for many years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star Sunrise Chapter 28 in Henderson.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Schrey of Desert Hot Springs and Joan Lee of New Port Richey, Fla.; one sister, Ella Murry of Royal Grande, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Robert Shaw, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 28, 1922, in St. Joseph, Mich. A resident for 43 years, he was a general contractor and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Helen Aikins of Las Vegas, Sharon Barber of San Antonio, Susan Culley of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Laurel Klaus of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one brother, Donald Shaw of San Diego.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Solid Rock Ministry, 2929 Cedar Ave. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Virginia M. Stoner

Virginia M. Stoner, 78, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born May 29, 1923, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired quality controller for a pen manufacturer.

She is survived by one daughter, Celia D. Pace of Boulder City; three sisters, Josephine Johnson and Bea Kruskamp, both of Dayton, and Ellen Long of Garden Grove, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Walter Steven Worley, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 22, 1952, in Missouri. A resident for many years, he was an automotive maintenance worker.

He is survived by his parents, Blanche and John Worley of Hillsboro, Mo.
