An Arizona man was killed and his passenger injured in a one-car accident Monday on state Route 169 near Overton.
The man was apparently driving too fast, drifted off the roadway and overturned the 1988 Dodge minivan he was driving about 10 a.m. Monday. Nevada Highway Patrol officials said.
The 33-year-old Tucson man was killed and his passenger, 51-year-old Naomi Childers of Spartanburg, S.C., was injured. She was taken to University Medical Center for treatment. The man's name was not released this morning.
