Ed Andrews

Ed Andrews, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1942, in Boston. A resident for six years, he was a retired brick mason.

He is survived by four daughters, Christina Adamson of Las Vegas, Sara Andrews and Gina Andrews, both of Quartz Hills, Calif., and Donna Tomassilli of Broomfield, Colo.; one sister, Jeane Costello of Winnetka, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Doris Bond

Doris Bond, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Wapello, Iowa. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired legal secretary.

She is survived by one daughter, Julie Rodela of Las Vegas; one son, Matt Bond of Denver; one sister, Lois Godwin of Moline, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 Saturday and 9-10 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

William R. Culp

William R. Culp, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 30, 1948, in Kansas. A resident for many years, he was a retail salesman.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Culp of Anderson, Ind.; and his parents, Woodrow and Phyllis Culp of Tonganoxie, Kan.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Tonganoxie. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Stewart Ernest Cunningham

Stewart Ernest Cunningham, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Minnesota. A resident for many years, he was a farmer.

He is survived by two sisters, Takashi Ueda and Ava Harvey, both of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Reyes 'Ray' Diaz

Reyes "Ray" Diaz, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired truck driver, an Air Force veteran, a member of the Moose and Teamsters Local 631 for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, Laura "Lari"; two sons, Raymond Diaz and Marcus Diaz, and one daughter, Linda Benson, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Community Assembly of God, 2900 N. Torrey Pines Drive. Graveside services will be noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Red Rock Moose Lodge 252.

Maxine J. Duran

Maxine J. Duran, 93, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1908, in Trinidad, Colo. A resident for more than 60 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Ralph L. Duran of Las Vegas; three sisters, Emma Borrego, Helen Valdez and Dora Ortega, all of Hayward, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Saturday followed by another service 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow Sunday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Freddy Esahu Gonzalez-Manus

Freddy Esahu Gonzalez-Manus, 2, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 8, 1999, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Esahu and Hope Gonzalez, one sister, Destiny Gonzalez-Manus, and one brother, Alex Gonzales-Manus, all of St. George, Utah; and his grandparents, Gloria Manus of Las Vegas, Maria DeJesus Mendez and Saul Gonzalez Martinez, both of Mexico.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Gerald 'Jud' William Green Sr.

Gerald "Jud" William Green Sr., 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 31, 1914, in Sterling, Colo. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired coffee salesman, a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran, a member of the China Burma India Association and the Retired Officers Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Davis of Las Vegas and Carol Jahrsdoerfer of Charlottesville, Va.; one son, Geral Williams Green Jr.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Herbert J. Isaacs, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 8, 1927, in New York City. A resident for seven years, he was a garment manufacturing supervisor and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; three daughters, Lynne Friend of Miami, Tina Isaacs of London and Dayna Isaacs of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled noon-1 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by a cryptside service in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Diane Vogelsang Kline

Diane Vogelsang Kline, 63, of Las Vegas died March 29 in Las Vegas. A secretary at Circus Circus, she was born March 5, 1939, in Paterson, N.J.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; one daughter, Lynne Vogelsang Cribbs of Las Vegas; her mother, Dorothy Hopper of Dallas; her father, Charles Hopper of Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers; one sister; and two grandsons.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. today at 8139 Kentshire Drive. Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.

Olga Loukas

Olga Loukas, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, George; one daughter, Bette "Cookie" Citro, two sons, James "Duffy" Loukas and Tyrone Loukas, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Robin B. Martin

Robin B. Martin, 46, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 31, 1955, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 40 years, he was an estimator in the construction industry.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Greenspan; one brother, David Martin; and his grandmother, Rose Greenspan.

A.G. Merryman

A.G. Merryman, 87, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A retired salesman and an Army veteran, he was born Jan. 22, 1915, in Burkett, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; five daughters, Alene Sowell of Cayucos, Calif., Claudia Butterbaugh of Las Vegas, Marilyn Bell of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Darlene Lindsey of Morro Bay, Calif., and Charlene Orton of Los Osos, Calif.; one brother, J.C. Merryman of Jal, N.M.; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 10:40 a.m. Saturday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sister Mary Monahan

Sister Mary Monahan, 97, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died March 11 in a care center. She was born Dec. 25, 1905, in Ohio. A former resident of Las Vegas, she was a Dominican nun.

She is survived by one brother, Eugene Brand; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A rosary will be 5 p.m. April 22 followed by a 6 p.m. Mass in the Divine Mercy Chaple at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. A homecoming reception will follow in Bevan Hall No. 2. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Drive, Lake Havasu, Ariz., is handling arrangements.

Barbara Peters

Barbara Peters, 70, of Las Vegas died March 31 in a local care center. She was born Oct. 5, 1931, in California. A resident for four years, she was a crossing guard.

She is survived by one son, Ron Peters.

Mauro Provenzano, 74, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for three years, he was a retired plasterer.

He is survived by his wife, Italia; one daughter, Diane Billotti of North Las Vegas; two sons, Tony Provenzano of San Dimas, Calif., and Mauro Provenzano Jr. of Glendora, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Pauline V. 'Polly' Richards

Pauline V. "Polly" Richards, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 21, 1915, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Gordon of Las Vegas and Jean Dowell of Sandusky, Ohio; one son, Andrew R. Richards Jr. of Las Vegas; four brothers, Edward Claus of Toledo, Joseph Claus of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Frank Claus and Donny Claus, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Maxine S. Robichaud

Maxine S. Robichaud, 88, of Las Vegas died April 4 in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 4, 1914, in Herington, Kan. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for the federal government and a member of the Officers Club at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver.

She is survived by four sons, Timothy Morgan and Kevin Morgan, both of Aurora, Colo., Shannon Morgan of Grand Junction, Colo., and James Robichaud of Las Vegas; five daughters, Mary Pamela Morgan, Bernadette Carver, Yvette Robichaud, Denise Vincent and Suzanne Garcia, all of Las Vegas; and 17 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Herman Rosenbush

Herman Rosenbush, 83, of Las Vegas, died Thursday in a local hospice. He was bon Oct. 22, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a World War II Army veteran, retired director of Military Sealift Command, past commander of Jewish War Veterans in Queens, N.Y., a member of B'nai B'rith and Zionist Organization of America.

He is survived by his wife, Toby; two daughters, Sharon Kaplan of Hockessin, Del., and Rena Katz of Daytona, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary-Downtown, followed by graveside services in Woodlawn Cemetery. King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.

Karter Rowley

Karter Rowley, 40, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. An electrician, he was born Oct. 16, 1961, in Laramie, Wyo.

He is survived by two sons, Brandon Rowley and Dallas Rowley; two daughters, Alexsandra Rowley and Donovon Heather Rowley; his mother, Carrie E. Rowley of Henderson; one brother, Kyle F. Rowley; and two sisters, Kim Johnson and Koni Nelson.

Services will be 1-3 p.m. Monday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Francis Roy

Francis Roy, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a care center. He was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Berlin, N.H. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired Clark County School District teacher, a foreign language teacher at Cashman Junior High School, an Army foreign intelligence officer and World War II veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Martine Carrillo of Montclair, Va.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will follow at noon Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Willie F. Russell Sr.

Willie F. Russell Sr., 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 6, 1926, in New Brockton, Ala. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired Army sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha; two sons, Willie F. Russell Jr. of Alsip, Ill., and Robert L. Russell of Clayton, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Lacy and Jacqueline Franklin, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Bessie Wilson and Pearl Wilson, and three brothers, James Russsell, Marion Russell and Ralph Russell, all of Florida; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Monday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will be 2:40 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Warren W. Schonhans, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Staten Island, N.Y. A resident for 27 years, he was a dealer and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Marion Desantes of Las Vegas; and one brother, Harold Schonhans of Centreville, Md.

Vasil Smith

Vasil Smith, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1936, in Macedonia. A resident for 12 years, he was a draftsman for a tool manufacturer and a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by two brothers, Boris Smith of Apopka, Fla., and Nikola Smith of Cleveland; and one sister, Tatiana Sacdanov of Norwalk, Ohio.

Bessie Hamilton Somers

Bessie Hamilton Somers, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee.

She is survived by four daughters, Mary Jo Harrington, Valerie Drachman, Deborah Baumgart and Martha Somers; one son, Joseph T. Somers; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

John Anthony Tricarico

John Anthony Tricarico, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 18, 1924, in Troy, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired printer in the field of lithography and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rhoda; three sons, Scott of Las Vegas, Cary of Charlottesville, Va., and Jim of Reston, Va.; one daughter, Mary Ogden of Garden Grove, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Vernon Robert 'Buddy' Wallace Jr.

Vernon Robert "Buddy" Wallace Jr., 70, of Las Vegas died April 4 in Las Vegas. He was born July 31, 1931, in Louisiana. A resident for 18 years, he owned and operated a frame shop and was a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Jacquelyn Fountain of Houston; one brother, Terry Wallace of Arkansas; one sister, Ginger Dryden of Houma, La.; and two grandchildren.

George H. Weaver Jr.

George H. Weaver Jr., 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 30, 1953, in New York City. A resident for several years, he worked for the claims department for college collections and was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Lisa Christianson, and one daughter, Diana Weaver, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Alice and George Weaver, two sisters, Sabrina Simmons and Angela Weaver, and two brothers, Archie Weaver and Eugene Weaver, all of New Jersey.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

James Floyd Wilson

James Floyd Wilson, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1912, in Petrolia, Texas. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired hotel busboy and a retired member of the Culinary Union.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa V.; three sons, Donald E. Wilson, J.R. Almeyda and Daniel Almeyda, all of Las Vegas; three daughters, Helen Marie Abbott of Broken Arrow, Okla., Iva Louise Bruce of Libby, Mont., and Catherine Bautista of Las Vegas; one sister, Evelyn Atkins of Tyler, Texas; 28 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Frank Leroy Wooldridge

Frank Leroy Wooldridge, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 18, 1919, in Seattle. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Forest Service firefighter, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Jewish War Veterans, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Daylite Masonic Lodge 44 and a member and Keystone Kops for the Zelzah Shrine Temple.

He is survived by one daughter, Charlene Marie Wooldridge of Cypress, Calif.; and one stepdaughter, Edith Bowler of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
