Bishop Gorman 6, Clark 1: Russ Warthen struck out five and allowed an unearned run in a complete-game victory, while Blake Wilson homered and Anthony Garcia doubled for the Gaels.
SOFTBALL
Bishop Gorman 3, Clark 1: Theresa Liedlich struck out eight for the Gaels, who got two RBIs and a run from Cassie Burks in a three-run sixth inning.
Foothill 13, Boulder City 7: Roxanne Ritchie went 3-for-5 with a homer, three RBIs and three runs, and Lace Mann was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two RBIs and two runs to lead the Falcons.

BOYS SWIMMING
Palo Verde 181, Basic 120: The Panthers got double-event victoris from Chris Carlson (200 free, 100 back), Andrez Posada (diving, 100 breast) and Ed Reppond (200 IM, 100 fly) and won all three relays. Basic's Adam Gerth captured the 100 free.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Palo Verde 208, Basic 91: Nicole Grimaldo (200 free, 500 free) and Brittany Last (100 free, 100 back) each won two events, and Wendy Williams captured the diving with a score of 207.6 for the Panthers. Rebecca Wadley finished first in the 100 breast for the Wolves.
