UNLV women finish season ranked 16th

Having closed out its regular season with two wins over unranked conference opponents last week, the UNLV women's tennis team dropped from 15th to 16th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.

The Rebels, who stood at No. 56 in the preseason poll, finished the regular season with a school-record tying mark of 17-3, with all three losses coming to teams ranked among the nation's top 25 (No. 3 Stanford, No. 4 Wake Forest and No. 24 San Diego State).

UNLV is seeded second in the Mountain West Conference tournament April 25-27 in Provo, Utah.
