Letter: Guinn wants it both ways on nuclear waste

I am amused at how Gov. Kenny Guinn is now running around trying to spare the citizens of Nevada the dangers of President Bush's nuclear repository at Yucca Mountain.

There are two facts that the citizens of Nevada should not soon forget:

(1) Kenny Guinn led the Republicans in Nevada in delivering the state to G.W. Bush in November 2000.

(2) It is his own Republican president who has decided to dump nuclear waste on us in Nevada.

Message is: You cannot have it both ways, Governor. This is your mess.
