Nevada real estate and construction trade groups have created the Coalition for Fairness in Construction, a group designed to address construction defect litigation and develop an industry response to the issue.
The coalition will have its first meeting April 18 at Palace Station.
Members of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association and the Nevada Subcontractors Association will join members of the local chapters of Associated General Contractors and Associated Builders and Contractors at 4 p.m. to talk about what they call "the building industry's most critical issue."
