Coronado 12, Chaparral 0: Alex Pappes threw a complete-game shutout, striking out four for the Cougars. Damon Wong went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, Matt Sexton was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Chase Billington had 2-for-3 with an RBI and Dan Fiorentini went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Cougars.

Bishop Gorman 7, Cheyenne 4: Josh Roberts yielded just one hit over six innings, Russ Warthen had in a three-run double and Anthony Garcia hit a two-run homer in the Gaels' victory.

Centennial 12, Western 2: Josh Wheeler went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a home run, Chris Bonnell hit a homer and went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Tim Wheeler was 2-for-3 with a home run for the Bulldogs.

Foothill 9, Desert Pines 3: Brad Baciak went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run, Benny Lasater was 2-for-4 with an RBI and pitcher Ricky Cerrone threw a complete-game three-hitter with six strikeouts.

Mojave 14, Clark 1: Greg Arnold was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Noel Sanchez hit a double with two RBIs for the Rattler win.

Durango 11, Palo Verde 10: Don Sutton struck out the side for the Blazers after Palo Verde rallied back from an 11-2 deficit with 10 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Sierra Vista 12, Rancho 0: Garrett Chaple had two doubles and four RBIs, Austin Stout went 3-for-3, Vicente Rivera went 2-for-3 with three runs and Ty Selby was 2-for-4 for the Mountain Lions.

Eldorado 10, Green Valley 5: Joe Cormier went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, Brandon Ward was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs and Marcel Benson went 2-for-4 with a home run.

Cimarron 3, Bonanza 2: The Spartans broke a 2-2 tie with an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Las Vegas 9, Silverado 3: Eugene Hamilton pitched a complete game, giving up six hits, Sean Kazmar had three hits, including a home run, Kenny Hargrow had two hits and Mike Giglia had two hits for the Wildcats.

SOFTBALL

Eldorado 7, Green Valley 3: Brently Bridgeforth struck out nine, giving up two earned runs, Stephanie Ollila had in a home run and drove in two runs and Michelle Walsh hit a triple for the Sundevils.

Silverado 6, Las Vegas 0: Silverado scored five runs in the first inning on an error to seal the Skyhawk victory.

Centennial 19, Western 0: Ashleigh McBeath threw a perfect game with 12 strikeouts for the Bulldogs.

Coronado 10, Chaparral 1: Brittany Loisel went 2-for-3 with a double and Ashley Thompson went 2-for-3 for the Cougar win. Michelle Ralston was 3-for-4 with a double for the Cowboys.

Bishop Gorman 21, Cheyenne 8: Theresa Liedlich had a double and a triple and Cassie Burks went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Gaels. Megan Whiteaker went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs, Carroll Dominquez had a double and Nicole Parque went 4-for-4 for the Desert Shields.
