Peter B. Aki, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 13, 1918, in Hawaii. A resident for 10 years, he was a driver for a construction company.
He is survived by three sons, Patrick of Pittsburgh and Peter and Herman, both of Phoenix; three daughters, Bernadette of Las Vegas, Linette Puda of Maui, Hawaii, and Paulette McKenzie of Phoenix; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Phillip Bolen
Phillip Bolen, 72, of Las Vegas died Feb. 23 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born Dec. 5, 1929.

Charles H. Bridges
Charles H. Bridges, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 29, 1913, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. A resident for 22 years, he was a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Charles D. Bridges of Las Vegas and Don Bridges of Oso, Calif.; three daughters, Alma Sue DeBerger of Las Vegas, Sharon Guzman of Palmdale, Calif., and Vicky Aguiniga of Lancaster, Calif.; one brother, Kenneth Bridges of Virginia; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth 'Betty' R. Brown
Elizabeth "Betty" R. Brown, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 13, 1938, in Glendale, Ohio. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired property manager.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Torres; three sons, Donald Proietty, Frank Proietty and Ronald Brown Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann Brown, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Minneapolis. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two daughters, Jill Gernert of Stanwood, Mich., and Jenifer Lam of Koosharim, Utah; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2 S. Pecos Road, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Helen Chauncey, 89, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. She was born March 21, 1913, in Missouri. A resident for 61 years, she was a retired telephone supervisor.
She is survived by two sisters, Bea Stephenson and Betty Dawson, both of Henderson; one brother, James Fulbright of Bristol, Va.; and two stepdaughters, Carolyn Horn and Beverly Wright, both of Los Osos, Calif.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Mabel L. Christian, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 26, 1910, in Washington, Utah. A resident of Southern Nevada for 84 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Percy Christian of Las Vegas and Leroy Christian of Alamo; and two grandchildren.

Sarah G. Duncan, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Dallas. A resident for 71 years, she was a retired apartment owner and operator.
She is survived by one son, Louis Andre DuBois of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Thea M. Gauthier, 73, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Rhinelander, Wis. A resident for 30 years, she was a PBX operator.
She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Peckman of Henderson and Nancy Thurman of Las Vegas; one son, John Gaughier of Las Vegas; three sisters, Alva Wilman of Wisconsin and Jean Merryman and Carol St. James, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Rackley, and two sons, Michael Williams and Mark Williams, all of North Las Vegas; one sister, Beverly Robinson of Los Angeles; two brothers, James Shorter of Germany and David Shorter of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Chester Wertman of Pahrump and Raymond Wertman of Sandy Valley; two daughters, Cindy Castro of Pahrump and Dianna Linquist of Las Vegas; one brother; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria A.; two sons, James G. Moody of Laramie, Wyo., and Kenneth R. Moody of Las Vegas; one daughter, Donna L. Riley of Escondido, Calif.; two sisters, Virginia Smith of Denver and Sharon Moody of Hugo, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Cooper of El Cajon, Calif.; one brother, Luther Tipton Jr. of Missouri; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Barbara Powers-Syphus of Salt Lake City and Nancy Jane Powers of Alamo, Calif.; three sons, Frank Edward Powers of Henderson, Joseph James Powers of Sugarland, Texas, and William Richards Powers of Whittier, Calif.; one brother, William Richards Powers of Chestertown, Md.; and seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, William; three sons, Barry Joseph Forget and Kelly Gene Forget, both of Las Vegas, and Michael Ricky Forget of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Forget-Wagner of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

John George Ryan, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Maryland. A resident for six years, he was a retired Coast Guard ships engineer, a member of the Elks Club of Henderson, Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one son, Stephen J. Ryan of Maine; one nephew, Michael D. Ryan, and one niece, Karen Deming, both of Maryland.
