The UNLV men's golf team could not improve its position on the leaderboard on Sunday, remaining in eight place after a final-round 290 in the U.S. Collegiate Championships at Tucson, Ariz.
The Rebels (296-300-290--886) did turn out their best team round of the event, but fell four strokes behind Houston (280-301-301--882) for seventh place and 27 strokes behind Texas (278-290-291--859), who led from wire to wire.
Ryan Moore (73-74-75--222) and Clark Corbett (74-75-73--222) tied for Rebel top honors in 24th place.
