James Joseph Bevan Sr.

James Joseph Bevan Sr., 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 17, 1915, in Philadelphia. A resident for seven years, he was a house painter.

He is survived by three sons, James J. Bevan Jr. of Las Vegas, Robert E. Bevan of Rescue, Calif., and William M. Bevan of Philadelphia; and five grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., handled arrangements.

Elizabeth Theresa Caruthers

Elizabeth Theresa Caruthers, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in Henderson. She was born June 19, 1917, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Norman Caruthers of Las Vegas; three grandsons and three great-grandsons.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Brandon Allen Crouch

Brandon Allen Crouch, 13, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A student at Johnson Junior High School, he was born Aug. 11, 1988, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his father, Terry James; his mother, Tina Crouch; his stepmother, Jill Jones; one brother, Corey Crouch; and one sister, Sadie James.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Ana (Mulata) Decal-Navarro

Ana (Mulata) Decal-Navarro, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Cuba. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired baccarat shill.

She is survived by her husband, Alberto Decal; one daughter, Ana V. Fernandez, and one son, Ramon A. Fernandez of Henderson; five stepdaughters, Vivian, Gloria, Mara and Anita, all of Las Vegas, and Isa of New York state; three stepsons, Albertico and Agustin, both of New York, and Vikincito of Las Vegas; one sister, Maria Navarro of Miami; and one grandchild.

Visitation was scheduled 1:30 p.m. until a 5:30 p.m. rosary today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Debra K. Kathan-Lopez

Debra K. Kathan-Lopez, 36, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 20, 1965, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was an accountant at Industrial Linen and active in the Foreign Student Exchange Program.

She is survived by two sons, Dustin Duron and Kyle Fife, one daughter, Nicole Fife, her parents, Sandra and Peter Fabiani, and two brothers, James Caseman and Anthony Fabiani, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Chun Kau Lam

Chun Kau Lam, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Canton, China. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired chef.

He is survived by his wife, Yin Kiu; two sons, Yuk Cheung Lam of Hong Kong and Edward Lam of Las Vegas; four daughters, Lai Tim So and Lai Ming Chan, both of Hong Kong, Lai Hung Choy of Canada and Lai Ha Lam of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Judy A. Moll

Judy A. Moll, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 2, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired dancer.

She is survived by her husband, Von; one daughter, Amy Shindell of Tacoma, Wash.; one brother, Jim Baker of Toledo; two sisters, Linda Kneller of Whitehouse, Ohio, and Sue Taylor of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

John J. Reilly

John J. Reilly, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a retired owner of a paint and wallpaper business and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one daughter, Brenda Reilly of Lafayette, Calif.; three sons, John P. Reilly, Lawrence W. Reilly and Bruce Reilly, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Elizabeth Cooper of Florida, Florence Pease of Joliet, Ill., and Catherine Hopkins of Chicago; and seven grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 28369, Las Vegas, NV 89126.

Josephine I. Sims

Josephine I. Sims, 96, of Indian Springs died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 20, 1905, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired government secretary and a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine.

She was preceded in death by one son, Joe Sims.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Dorathy Sims of Indian Springs.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Chester W. Wiseman

Chester W. Wiseman, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 16, 1931, in California. A resident for many years, he was a laborer and a veteran.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Margarita Rodriguez of Las Vegas.

Visitation was scheduled 2-6 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
