San Diego matches to air on Metro 48

Las Vegas Metro 48, channel 48 on Cox cable, plans to air four San Diego Spirit Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) matches this season. The telecast schedule calls for two matches to be shown live and the other two to be aired on taped-delay.

The league features the best women's soccer players in the world, including Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain, Tiffeny Milbrett, Briana Scurry and the Spirit's Julie Foudy and Shannon MacMillan.

The televised Spirit games are April 27 at Boston, 7 p.m. delayed; June 29 vs. Carolina at 7 p.m.; July 31 vs. Atlanta at 7 p.m.; and Aug. 3 at Philadelphia at 4 p.m.
