Legal, financial seminar scheduled

The Alzheimer's Association presents "Beginning the Journey: A Legal and Financial Look at Alzheimer's Disease," at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive.

The program will focus on the legal aspects associated with the disease including guardianship, durable power of attorney, living will considerations, the financial aspects of the disease and the costs associated with care giving.

Wine tasting set at Venetian

Guggenheim Las Vegas will host a wine tasting event to celebrate Beaulieu Vineyards' one hundred years of wine making from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at The Venetian.

Visitors will be able to sample a variety of delicacies from the Bergin Baking Co. & Cafe, sample five different wines for $5 or purchase a glass for $4.

The event is open to the public and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.

Guggenheim will also present "The Art of the Motorcycle," an exhibit featuring 120 motorcycles, chronicling the most compelling moments in motorcycle design and technology.

Admission is $15; $12 for seniors and Nevada residents; $11 for students; $7 for children ages 6-12; and children 5 and under are free.

The "Spring Into Health Fair & Kids Carnival,"

offering free carnival games, prizes, refreshments and free health screenings, will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rainbow Medical Center, 821 N. Nellis Blvd. For more information, call 438-4003.

Henderson will celebrate

the opening of Stephanie Lynn Craig Park, 1725 Galleria Drive, Henderson, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
