BASEBALL
Durango 13, Wisconsin Lutheran (Wisc.) 3: The Blazers got a three-run homer from Robbie Jacobson and a two-run shot from Casey McDonald, along with two doubles from Don Sutton. Sutton finished with three hits, while Jacobson, McDonald, Danny Kelly and Jeff Jacobsen had two hits apiece.
Las Vegas 7, Centennial 6: Sean Kazmar's two-run triple spearheaded a four-run seventh, and Justin Hicks finished 4-for-4 for the Wildcats. The victors also got a pair of doubles from Mike Giglia and two hits from David Hamilton.
Desert Classic
Silverado 3, Hialeah (Fla.) 0: Tyler Coon struck out six in a three-hit shutout and Jered Ferdinand homered for the Skyhawks, who managed just two hits off Hialeah starter Giovanny Gonzalez.
Palo Verde 4, Bradock Homes (Fla.) 2: Chris Dowler struck out eight in seven innings, Josh Conley went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Ryan Bonnet had an RBI double for the Panthers.
Bishop Gorman 5, Coronado 2: P.J. Fisher struck out 10 and walked just two in the Gaels' first complete game of the season. Blake Wilson tripled for the victors.
Bishop Gorman 4, Carson 3: Paul Schmidt struck out eight but hit seven batters in six innings for the Gaels, who scored two in the sixth to rally back. Dan Mangiapani struck out all three batters he faced for the save, while Chris Brown, Blake Wilson and Cameron Brown had two hits apiece.
Green Valley 1, Columbus (Fla.) 0
Columbus (Fla.) 8, Alameda (Calif.) 3
SOFTBALL
Bonanza 3, Green Valley 0: Trisha DiSimone held the Gators to four hits, Kelly Campbell drove in two runs and Kim Davenberg went 3-for-4 for the Bengals.
Clark 6, Cheyenne 3: Marcy Lecker had a pair of hits to lead the Chargers, while Megan Whiteaker tripled in defeat for the Desert Shields.
Boulder City 3, Sierra Vista 2: Danielle Martinez and Jan Garis each went 2-for-4 with a triple for the Mountain Lions, who out-hit the Eagles 9-3 in the loss.

Chaparral def. Palo Verde, 15-7, 15-10, 15-4: David Garrard had 20 kills, Russ Ellsworth chipped in 12 kills and Chris Golightly dished out 25 assists for the Cowboys. Mike Chong had 36 assists and Ryan Johnson added 12 kills for the Panthers.
Basic def. Durango, 15-5, 15-2, 15-3: The Wolves got nine kills from Shawn Muaina, 27 assists and three aces from Chris Stolworthy and seven kills and five aces from Derek Jappe. Brad Gillihan had seven digs for the Blazers.
Silverado def. Sierra Vista, 15-9, 15-2, 15-4
BOYS SWIMMING
Basic 170, Bonanza 121: Scott Yacono (200 free, 500 free) and Daniel Meserrey (200 IM, 100 breast) won two events each to lead the Wolves, who also captured the 200 free and 400 free relays.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Bonanza 182, Basic 111: The Bengals got multiple-event wins from Sam Taquah (200 free, 100 back), Kaitlyn Millson (200 IM, 100 free) and Liane Publow (100 fly, 100 breast) and won all three relays.
GIRLS TRACK
Boulder City 96, Foothill 92.5, Clark 62.5
