Rebel women to host UNLV Desert Classic

With a week of training over the Spring Break holiday, the UNLV women's track and field team is set to host the UNLV Desert Classic Friday and Saturday at Myron Partridge Stadium / Shiela Tarr Smith Field.

Cal State Dominguez Hills, San Diego State and Southern Utah will field teams along with the Rebels at the two-day meet. UNLV has competed in three consecutive home hosted invitationals and will look to finish strong in its final home meet of the season.

The 2002 Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships are just a month away and at mid-season, the Rebels hope to post top times and marks in the weeks to come.
