Dorothy Carman
Dorothy Carman, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 16, 1924, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a baker for New York City public schools.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Jensen of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Patricia Stafford of Lawton, Okla.; one sister, Marion Guy of Lago Vista, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to Hospice of Lawton Area, 1930 Ferris Ave., No. 5, Lawton, OK 73507.
Anthony Catalano
Anthony Catalano, 91, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 15, 1911, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired painter and World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda S. Paez of Henderson; two sisters, Carmela Emanuel and Susie Esposito, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St., followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Johnnie Lee Clay
Johnnie Lee Clay, 66, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 1, 1935, in Canton, Miss. A resident for more than 40 years, he was a retired truck driver for a disposal service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Jessie Clay of Las Vegas; three sons, Jerry Clay and James Clay, both of Las Vegas, and Terry Clay of Greenville, Miss.; one sister, Bernice Craft of Canton; two brothers, W.C. Clay of Chicago and Eugene Clay of Geneva, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Anthony John Costello
Anthony John Costello, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired employee of the New York Department of Highways.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; four sons, Steven Costello, Christopher Costello, Andrew Costello and Gregory Costello, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Arthur G. Cox
Arthur G. Cox, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Cortland, N.Y. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired retail sales clerk and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; one daughter, Christine Davenport of Las Vegas; one son, Arthur W. Cox of Texas; two sisters, Beverly Cox and Dorothy Benjamin, both of New York state; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jean K. DeAngelis, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1929, in Somerville, Mass. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired retail clerk, a member of the St. Rose DeLima Women's Auxiliary and volunteered at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise Foster of Phoenix and Roberta DeAngelis of Reno; one son, Frederick DeAngelis of Las Vegas; two sisters, Marie Wallace of Mason, Ohio, and Claire Colbert of Chelmsford, Mass.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Henry Dragna, 93, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Louisiana. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was an inventory checker and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two brothers, Carl J. Dragna Sr. and Bernardo Dragna; and one sister, Lucy Ivie.

Elliot E. Fallas
Elliot E. Fallas, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was born Jan. 13, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Dorinne; one son, Michael Kona Fallas of Los Angeles; and two brothers, Anthony Fallas and Dennis Fallas, both of Honolulu.

LaVern 'Lee' Graham
LaVern "Lee" Graham, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Mount Vernon, Ohio. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired florist.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie Day of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael Graham and Craig Graham, both of Helendale, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Angelito Merin Granados
Angelito Merin Granados, 31, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 2, 1970, in the Philippines. A resident for 13 years, he worked in room service at New York-New York.
He is survived by his parents, John and Marialina Lockman; one brother, Elvic Granados of San Diego; and one sister, Clarita Sevilla of the Philippines.

Harry E. Gray
Harry E. Gray, 76, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 10, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired Air Force senior master sergeant and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Gray of California and Lyle Gray of Reno; two daughters, Carol Gray and Holly Bobrowski, both of Cleveland; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Kamp W. Grundmeyer
Kamp W. Grundmeyer, 88, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1913, in Albert Lea, Minn. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired civil service contractor, a World War II Marine Corps veteran, a life member of Elks Lodge 1440 in Las Vegas and a member of the Masons in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; one daughter, Kam Valentine of Aurora, Colo.; one son, Steve Grandmeyer of Reno; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Gerald R. Hergenrother
Gerald R. Hergenrother, 59, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. He was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Pennsylvania. A resident for four years, he was a trucker for Albertson's and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; two sons, Robert Hergenrother and Nick, both of California; three daughters, April Cochran of North Carolina, Valery Becker of Oregon and Kimberly Hergenrother of California; and 14 grandchildren.

Linden Kelly
Linden Kelly, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 12, 1919, in Mechanissburg, Ill. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired Air Force major, World War II and Korean War veteran, retired from the Atomic Energy Commission and Department of Energy, was a P-51 pilot and a member of the Roadrunners Association.
He is survived by one daughter, Candace Husenita of Las Vegas and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Alma M. Krell
Alma M. Krell, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 29, 1913, in Missouri. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W.

Jay C. Layson
Jay C. Layson, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Mississippi. A resident for two years, he was a retired steel worker and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Moore Layson; one daughter, Sharon Westerdale of Las Vegas; one son, Glen Layson of Shelby Township, Mich.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Claude R. Lovaglio
Claude R. Lovaglio, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1934, in Paris. A resident for 14 years, he was an aircraft maintenance technician for America West and had also worked for Pan Am for 27 years in New York and was a member of Veterans Motor Car Club of America-High Rollers Chapter.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; his father, Giovanni Lovaglio; and his mother, Francoise Candida.

Harvey Markowitz, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 16, 1929, in New York City. A resident for four years, he was a civil engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Juliet Markowitz of Los Angeles; one son, Michael Markowitz of Santa Monica, Calif.; one sister, Harriet Bessen of New Jersey; and one brother, Arthur Markowitz of Westbury, N.Y.
Graveside services will be in Los Angeles. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
Arturo Maurent
Arturo Maurent, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1919, in Puerto Rico. A resident for one month, he was a city of New York employee and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Julia; one son, Arthur Maurent; one daughter, Eileen Sammon; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Christopher Neto Mercado
Christopher Neto Mercado, 27, of Las Vegas died March 22 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1974, in Nevada.
He is survived by one son, Neto Mercado; two daughters, Kristina Mercado and Selena Mendoza; his mother, Pauline Wilkinson; two brothers, Daniel Lee Molina and Stephen Albert Mercado; and one sister, Rosie Gonzalez.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Durwood W. "Woody" Midgett, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Collington, N.C. A resident for eight years, he was a retired carpenter and World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Lauretta Rost and Aimee Marsh, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Esther Camara of Hampton Bays, N.Y.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Marti Lea Molnar, 36, of Las Vegas died Monday in Bangkok, Thailand. She was born June 7, 1965, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a sales representative in the gaming industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Shae Vestal, her stepmother, Kathy Popham, and stepfather, Dick Popham, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Debbie Lyons of Las Vegas and Terry McMahan of Sandy Valley.

Wilma H. Ogan, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 17, 1916, in Okawville, Ill. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Derryberry of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Jack Ogan of Springfield, Ore., and Michael Ogan of Portland, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Niles Durant Osguthorpe, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Utah. A resident for 43 years, he was a crane operator and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Deirdre Felgar; three sons, Jeff and Eric, both of Las Vegas, and Greg of Seattle.

She is survived by one sister, Kazuko Nakaizumi of Japan.

He is survived by his wife, Mariela; two daughters, Debbie Smith and Catalina R. Preston; and two grandchildren.

Richard Grant Sechrist Jr., 67, of Las Vegas died March 27 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Binghamton, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired manager at Hughes Aircraft.
He is survived by two sons; four daughters; two sisters; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

William R. Sudduth, 50, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1951, in California. A resident for 46 years, he was a lawn maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; his parents, William and Naomi Sudduth; three brothers, Robert Sudduth, Thomas Sudduth and Dennis Sudduth; and two sisters, Debra Jones and Jayne Luebstorf.

Jessie Tufano, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Port Alberni, British Columbia. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired clerk in the telecommunications field, a member of the Women's Royal English Navy and Royal Canadian Naval Association.
She is survived by one son, Michael Tufano of Las Vegas; and one brother, David Imlach of Port Alberni.

James D. 'Pig' Williams Sr.
James D. "Pig" Williams Sr., 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1935, in Sondheimer, La. A resident for 45 years, he was a hotel chef.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; one son, James Williams Jr., one daughter, Joyce Haywood, and three stepsons, Timothy Parson, Sean Hall and Alton Hall, all of Las Vegas; six stepdaughters, Beverly Taylor of Florida and Heather Hall, Cheryl Coleman, Brenda Hankston, Beverly Haywood and Gail Haywood, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Curtis Williams of Henderson; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
