Monday, April 1, 2002 | 11:01 a.m.

Three Internet casino operators that were accused of trademark infringement by Mandalay Bay in U.S. District Court were ordered to return their domain names to the Las Vegas hotel-casino.

U.S. District Judge Roger Hunt last week ordered a South Korean entity and several Internet casino operators to transfer their domain name "mandalaybaycasino.com" to Mandalay.

Seoul-based entity Seocho was accused of linking the domain name to a website that had links to the other defendants' online casinos and sportsbooks. The defendants include San Jose, Calif.-based Digital Betting Unlimited and Michael Lee and Ladyville, Belize-based entities Carribean Sports Book Inc. and Fulton Data Processing.

Separately, U.S. District Judge Philip Pro ordered Luxor Online Casino of San Jose, Costa Rica, which was accused of linking its domain name "luxor-online-casino.com" to an online casino and sportsbook, to return the domain name to Luxor owner Mandalay Resort Group.

He also ordered Brisbane, Australia-based DBS Administration Pty. Ltd., which was accused of linking its "wwwluxorcasino.com" domain name to a casino directory website that provides links to other casino websites, to transfer the name to Mandalay.
