Where she is now: Oregon State

Class: Sophomore

Sport: Golf

Currently: After seeing limited action in her first year at TCU, Pendleton transferred to Oregon State last winter and is expected to be a mainstay for the Beavers this season. Her scoring average of 77.3 over 15 rounds ranked second on the team last spring, and she qualified to play in both the Pac-10 Championships and the NCAA West Regional.

Looking back: Part of the Gator dynasty of the late 1990s, Pendleton helped her school to three 4A state team titles in 1996, '97 and '98 and captured the individual state championship as a junior in 1997. In her final prep golf tournament, Pendleton finished third in the state as a senior, contributing to Green Valley's second-day team score of 374, a national record for a high school fivesome over 18 holes.
