Letter: Put an end to terror forever

What can I say that already hasn't been said? This is a tragedy caused by hatred.

However, we live in the United States, not the Divided States. Perhaps that's what these terrorists wanted to do was to bring upheaval and unrest to our country.

What I don't understand is how people in America who want peace don't want to fight for it. Look at all the innocent lives that have been cut short. No one wants additional bloodshed, but what can be done to bring this enemy to their knees?

I do not see just putting these people in jail as solving the problem. We have to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and start following our tough talk with major action. We need to put an end once and for all to this uncalled-for terror for the children of the world.
