Letter: Gung ho guy disgusts reader

In response to John Heple's Sept. 16 letter, where he refers to the passengers being the real culprits: What right do you, or anyone, have to judge those poor people? They were told they had a bomb, besides having knives.

Airlines, as well as the government, have instructed pilots to cooperate, and passengers as well. In your sick way of thinking you say the passengers are guilty for the deaths of over 5,000 people. Try telling that to the victims' relatives.

You disgust me and make me sick to even think another American would make such a statement.

If you are such a gung ho, Rambo type of guy, you should have been aboard that first plane and could have prevented the whole thing.
