Rebel women finish last in inaugural event

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- The UNLV women's golf team completed play Tuesday at the Mason Rudolph Championship, shooting a final-round 327 to finish with a 100-over par 964 and last in the 14-team field.
The tournament was the first in school history for the newly formed women's team.
Freshman Hwanhee Lee (77-76-81--234) was the brightest spot in the Rebels' inaugural competition, carding a final-round 81 to finish tied for 42nd at 18-over par. Las Vegan Erin Borcherts (85-77-79--241) turned in the team's best round on Tuesday, firing a 79 to finish 64th at 25-over par.
Ohio State, with an 861, won the event.
