Dorothy Marie Arnold
Dorothy Marie Arnold, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for three years, she was a secretary for a printing company and a volunteer at Holly Hock Adult Day Care Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Hartman of Las Vegas and Beth Brosnahan of Holden, Mass.; one son, William Arnold of Dudley, Mass.; one brother, William Shepard of Worcester; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private.
John E. Balkiewicz Sr.
John E. Balkiewicz Sr., 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Shenandoah, Pa. A resident for seven years, he was a retired electrician and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; one daughter, Lynn Finelli of Newtown Square, Pa.; one son, John Balkiewicz Jr. of Pottstown, Pa.; three sisters, Laura Page of Florida and Helen Banis and Gloria Choplick, both of Shenandoah, Pa.; two brothers, Adam Balkiewicz and Frank Balcavage, both of Shenandoah; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Irving Braslow
Irving Braslow, 78, of Las Vegas died Sept. 6 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 14 years, he owned a restaurant equipment company, was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of Salaam Shrine of Livingston, N.J., and the Jewish War Veterans Post 125 of Asbury Park, N.J.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth M.; two sons, Alan B. Braslow of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Larry S. Braslow of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Lois Cohen
Lois Cohen, 60, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, she was born June 22, 1952.
Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Ronald Joseph 'Joe' Doane
Ronald Joseph "Joe" Doane, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 11, 1934, in Springfield, Mass. A resident for nine years, he was an offset printer in Maryland, a Korean War Air Force veteran and president of Canyon Willow Pecos Homeowners Association.
He is survived by his wife, Rosetta; two daughters, Rosalie Sackett of Las Vegas and Robin Banning of Bowie, Md.; one sister, Margurite Martin of Springfield; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
William Stewart Foley
William Stewart Foley, 66, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born May 19, 1935, in Troy, N.Y. A resident for one year, he was a life insurance salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Antoinette; two sons, William Stephen Foley and Michael Foley, both of Pahrump; and one grandson.
No local services are scheduled. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, is handling arrangements.

Franklin Wayne Graham
Franklin Wayne Graham, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 12, 1914, in San Simon, Ariz. He was a retired civil service customs inspector, World War II Army veteran and a bishop for five years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, La Val C. Graham.
He is survived by his wife, Ardel W. Andreasen; one son, Gary W. Graham of Las Vegas, Dr. R. Leon Graham of Elk Ridge, Utah; Bruce C. Graham of Ogden, Utah and Don W. Graham of Aiken, S.C.; three sisters, Ida Hill of Tempe, Ariz., Jean Melton of Hatch, N.M., and Verna Kennington of Afton, Wyo.; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Utah and burial in Texas. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
LeRoy John Kellert
LeRoy John Kellert, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1928, in Brooklyn. A resident for 25 years, he was a room service attendant at the Las Vegas Hilton.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; one son, Mario Kellert, one daughter, Jerri Lynn Kellert, and one son, Theodore Custis, all of Las Vegas.

Robert Grant Larsen
Robert Grant Larsen, 75, of Las Vegas died Sept. 5 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Illinois. A resident for 21 years, he was a teacher in San Diego and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Brice and David; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Procopio Lovato
Procopio Lovato, 93, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. A custodian, he was born Nov. 10, 1907, in New Mexico.
He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Romero of New Mexico.
Burial will be in Mexico. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Donald Joseph Schinzel
Donald Joseph Schinzel, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 2, 1931, in Michigan. A resident for 20 years, he was a convention center maintenance worker and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; two sons, Dennis and Joey; four daughters, Linda, Karen, Gerry and Debbie; two sisters, Delphine Dow and Irene Lambert; and four grandchildren.

Charles Shalov
Charles Shalov, 57, of Las Vegas died Sept. 7 in a local hospital. He was born April 5, 1944, in New York. A resident for six years, he was a sales administrator in the field of maintenance supplies and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; one son, Casheroo Shalov of Las Vegas; and one brother, Barry Shalov of New York.

Janet E. Piper
Janet E. Piper, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 10, 1925, in Sharon, Wis. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker, a University of Wisconsin graduate and a volunteer for several charities including the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
She is survived by two sisters, Anita Charboneau and Doris Warrick, both of Las Vegas.

Richard Ryan, 68, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A resident for many years, he was born Feb. 10, 1933.

Barbara Weissbard
Barbara Weissbard, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 25, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired art teacher for New York City School District.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Kramer of Las Vegas; one son, William Weissbard of Pasadena, calif.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89117.
Carl D. White
Carl D. White, 42, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 18, 1958, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for one year, he was an assistant manager for a grocery store.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; two sons, Jared White of Oregon and Richard White of Henderson; five daughters, Autumn White of Oregon and Bobbie White, Robyn White, Kendall White and Chelsie White, all of Henderson; one son, Richard White of Henderson; and one brother, Richard Martin White of Bakersfield, Calif.
