Harrah's Entertainment Inc. of Las Vegas sued an air charter operator and its two managers to recover $377,000 in prepayments for charter flights that Harrah's says were cancelled when the charter operator halted operations.
Harrah's Laughlin casino-hotel, which said it engaged Sun West International LLC to fly its guests from various airports nationwide to Laughlin starting January, sued Sun West and its managers, Diana Bradley and James Lewis, in Clark County District Court.
Harrah's also seeks to recover an outstanding $622,006 of $1.022 million it says it spent to provide alternative flights to make up for the cancelled flights as well as hotel and meal accommodations to guests who allegedly were stranded after Sun West allegedly failed to complete the flights.
The defendants could not be reached for comment.
