More than 350 Las Vegas cab drivers lined Las Vegas Boulevard Wednesday evening in a memorial to the victims of Tuesday's terrorist attacks.
John Shannon, the editor of Vegascabbie.com, said the line of cabs stretched down the Strip for more than four miles, ending at the Belz Mall.
The event, which began about 11:40 p.m., lasted until after 1 a.m. today, Shannon said. It was organized by A North Las Vegas Cab's senior driver Art Reynolds and Robert Huren of Vegas Western, Shannon said.
When the cab drivers arrived at Belz Mall, they raised $1,000 for the American Red Cross, Shannon said.
